"Sometimes I think war is God's way of teaching us geography." Paul Rodriguez
Amateur of wargame of any kind for a very long time, fond of history and cartography, owner of a specialised shop (roleplaying games, miniatures, wargames…) for sixteen years, I spent a lot of time developing and making wargame battlefields. Indeed, what is the use of spending so much time painting beautiful armies when you’ve got to manoeuver them on pieces of rug…

"In 1688, Louis XIV and Louvois created the Dépôt de la Guerre. Initially in charge of collecting archives produced by the Secrétariat d’Etat à la Guerre (state war office). Until its dissolution after the 1870 defeat, it will collect great numbers of documents from different sources (donations, purchases, spoils of war…), conduct studies from these documents for officers training ; and even carry out great cartographic works. The largest part of these collections were maps and plans." |
The detail level of the settings is calculated to create a realistic aerial vision of the battlefield. The limits of the main terrain features are clearly defined, which gives a good understanding of the terrain nature. The different settings (buildings, forests, fields…) are flat and solid enough to resist your troops intense crossing, and make it easy.

"The best tank terrain is that without antitank weapons." Russian military doctrine |

The proposed terrain scales fits with a lot of wargame rules used in clubs or at home. The most apppropriate miniature scale to use would be the 2mm (1/900th), but the 6mm, and even 10mm or 15mm (except modern period) fit very well . The standard terrain proposed allows you to play most of all historical periods (modern, napoleonic, secession, ancient…), but I can make more specific battlegrounds (Normandy, Russia…), or even more specific battlefields (Elchingen, Carentan, Bull run…).

"I hate war as only a soldier who has lived it can, only as one who has seen its brutality, its futility, its stupidity." Dwight D Eisenhower |

Logistics always took an important place in military affairs. Storage boxes are solid and handy, facilitating transport and storage. Terrain setting is easy and takes only a few minutes. The modular system offers a lot of assembly possibilities and so provides a large variety of battlefields.

I don’t keep much in stock.. All my work is "custom-built", wich allows me to adapt to your specific desires, and makes each set unique. Manufacturing times may last a few weeks (drying time …). To get an estimate, an answer to your questions, or simply give your opinion, you can find my Email in the contact page of the website. I will do my best to answer as quick as possible.
All the pictures on this website were taken by myself. Sorry for the poor quality of some of them (photography is not my cup of tea). All the 6mm miniatures are Heroics & Ross, the 2mm are Irregular, and the 15mm are Old Glory.
